Tagadere Drop-In

Tagadere holds a weekly Drop-In which enables people who are HIV positive to meet with other positive people for social and emotional support. The Drop-In also provides the opportunity to access services provided by individual members of the NPCT in a non-clinic environment. In attendance we have an HIV Specialist Social Worker, HIV Specialist Clinical Nurse, Housing Support Workers from Metropolitan Support Trust, Dietician from City Hospital and Third Year volunteer student Counsellor. Monthly therapeutic and educational excursions are part of our activities along with monthly Holistic Therapy Workshops and economical, budgeting and Art Therapy Workshops. We provide Internet access, facilities for document copying and printing plus a child-friendly play room. (Please be aware that children are the sole responsibility of parents / guardians / carers at all times). Refreshments and lunch are provided at a nominal charge. Drop-In is open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each Wednesday at a wheelchair accessible venue on the outskirts of Nottingham City Centre with ample on-street parking outside. There is a regular bus service from the city centre which has stops adjacent to the premises.
