Ashfield Links Forum is the infastructure organisation providing support, development, resouces, services and representation for the voluntary and community sector in the Ashfield District. (Hucknall, as one of the areas we cover, is part of Ashfield District Council)
British Red Cross
The British Red Cross helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. They are part of a global voluntary network, responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies.
They enable vulnerable people in the UK and abroad to prepare for and withstand emergencies in their own communities. And when the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives.
The British Red Cross is the managing agent for the Partnership Development Team.

Supporting People Partnership in Nottingham
This is Supporting People section of the Nottingham City Council website. Supporting People in Nottingham is a government programme which was launched in April 2003 and aims to ensure housing related support services provided to vulnerable people are of good quality and offer value for money.
Supporting People services are targeted at people who are homeless, people with mental health problems and/or substance misuse problems, people with learning difficulties, older people, young people, women fleeing domestic violence, ex-offenders and a number of other vulnerable groups. There is also an emphasis placed on identifying the needs of Black and Minority Ethnic people.
Supporting People Partnership in Nottinghamshire
The Supporting People Partnership in Nottinghamshire brings together the County Council, seven District Councils, seven Primary Care Trusts and the Probation Service to direct housing related support services in the County.
The Partnership plans, monitors performance, reviews and funds providers of the county's housing-related support services. They do this to support people to enable them to live independently and to ensure that providers give quality, value for money services that complement other related services and meet local need.

Nottinghamshire County tPCT
The newly established Nottinghamshire County tPCT has taken over the functions and responsibility of the six former Nottinghamshire primary care trusts - Ashfield, Broxtowe and Hucknall, Gedling, Mansfield District, Newark and Sherwood, Rushcliffe. It is responsible for all community NHS services, such as district and school nursing, health visiting, GPs, dentistry, opticians, and pharmacy.
