Adult Autism Strategy Consultation
The Department of Health is consulting on a future strategy to support adults with autistic spectrum conditions to live full and inclusive lives with access to the right care and support.
The consultation considers five key themes for delivering change:
- health
- social inclusion
- choice and control
- awareness raising and training
- access to training and employment.
The consultation is open until 15 September 2009 and you can get involved in the following 4 ways

In person - organise your own local event. Email autism@dh.gsi.gov.uk to ask for a toolkit to help you plan your event. Alternatively, you may be able to get involved with local focus groups and interviews that are being organised.
