The NHS Improvement Plan
The NHS Improvement Plan, published in June 2004, set out the way in which the NHS needs to change in order to become truly patient led.
The plan sets out the priorities for the NHS between now and 2008. It supports the ongoing commitment to a 10-year process of reform first set out in The NHS Plan.
