Supporting People Nottingham User Involvement Strategy
Supporting People Nottingham's User Involvement Strategy outlines how and when users of Supporting People services want to be involved with the future of the Supporting People programme.
The strategy contains an action plan that gives a breakdown of the activities for the next year.
Some of the key recommendations in the strategy are:
- To employ a dedicated service-user involvement officer - funding permitting
- To work with service users to develop information e.g. the newsletter, website etc.
- To set up a service users' steering group to ensure that service users can be involved in decisions regarding the future of the Supporting People programme.
- To develop a team of service users' advocates to ensure more choice for people in the ways they can feedback their points of view.
