Cirrus 9
Cirrus 9 supports complementary therapies within substance misuse services. Based in Nottingham, it provides a platform for development, good practice and service user feedback.
Their aims are:
- To promote the development of specialist complementary healthcare practice for the treatment of substance misuse.
- To support the standardisation and regulation of complementary healthcare in the substance misuse field.
- To further the development of an evidence base for the efficacy of complementary therapies as an adjunct treatment intervention for substance misusers.
- To support service user demand for ongoing, accessible and affordable complementary health care services.

An organisation providing quality confidential support for parents, carers, family and friends of illicit drug users (covers North Nottinghamshire area).
Let's Build
Let's Build do not currently have a website. Once their website is available the above link will become active.
Let's Build is an information service aiming to inform communities about services available, whilst providing advice and support around drug and alcohol issues. Let's Build wants to enable communities to have a voice and ensure that their wants and needs are listened to.
Let's Build deliver Drug Awareness & Alcohol Awareness training programmes and parent information sessions such as 'How to Drug Proof Your Kids'.

Nottingham City Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT)
Nottingham City Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT)is a multi-agency partnership dedicated to tackling drug misuse, and its associated problems, in the City of Nottingham. It is responsible for implementing the national strategy www.drugs.gov.uk "Tackling Drugs Together to Build a Better Britain" (up dated in 2002)in Nottingham, and for responding to local needs. The DAAT partnership involves Nottingham City Council (our host organisation), Nottingham City Primary Care Trust, Nottinghamshire Police, Nottinghamshire Probation Service, and local prisons, and aims to ensure that these organisations work together in a well co-ordinated way to tackle drug problems.
Nottingham Crime & Drugs Partnership
Nottingham Crime & Drugs Partnership (CDP) is a partnership resource with the aim of tackling Crime, Drugs & Anti-Social Behaviour issues. The CDP is made up of a broad spectrum of agencies from the Police and Fire Service to the Local Authority and Local Strategic Partnership, along with groups and individuals who work directly with the community. Their website consists of information and advice about services the CDP commissions as well as ones provided by services and agencies the CDP works with.
Nottinghamshire Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT)
Nottinghamshire County Drug and Alcohol Action Team is an active, working partnership that seeks to break the harm done to society by the problematic use of drugs and alcohol. They do this by commissioning drug treatment services, and working with partners to achieve the targets and priorities set by the government in the 7 districts of Nottinghamshire County. The web site is designed to introduce you to the wide-ranging work and priorities of the Nottinghamshire County Drug and Alcohol Action Team partnership. The site will show you the main strands of the strategy and show how the Nottinghamshire County Drug and Alcohol Action Team fit into the various public policy arenas.
Referrers Guide
The Referrers Guide lists resources that can be accessed directly on behalf of clients who may need help with drug and alcohol problems and people affected by the drug and alcohol use of others. It also includes guidelines, diversity information and a section on service user and carer involvement.
Thru-Care
The Thru-care website eeks to cover all the organisations and people in the Nottingham area who have an interest and commitment to addiction recovery.
It seeks to show them how to access services and what they might expect when they do. The aim is to empower those in recovery and the carers and friends who support them, to find the help they want, when they want it, and to access it successfully.
